Desafortunadamente, no encontraron ningún rastro.

This photo was sent by a Polish citizen. The person who contacts us tells us that a Jewish family who lived in a wooden house belonging to her grandfather, which was located in Zyardow, in Ogrodowa Street, now called Milczarskiego 25, left their father a family photograph. The family was called Kotek or Wiskitki (perhaps another name). This family who had probably emigrated to Argentina and returned to Poland before World War II had this photo taken at a studio in Buenos Aires called Foto Colombo, located at 917 Boedo Street, according to the inscription on the back of the photo. When they were forced to move to the ghetto, someone from that family left the photo to the tenants for safekeeping. After the war, the parents of the person who contacted us left Zyrardow, and settled in Piotrków Trybunalsky. The sender learns that at some point, the descendants of the family in the photo found out that there were survivors and decided to go to the above-mentioned address. They were looking for some element as a family memento. Unfortunately, they found no trace. The photo has been in the possession of the family who owned the house on Ogrodowa Street for 80 years, but for some decades it was lost in boxes. Today the sister of the person who contacted us found it while cleaning the basement. Therefore, if any descendant of the Kotek/Wiskitki family or another recognizes the photo, they are requested to contact us.
